Precise Temperature Control
 
The RKN active pallet shipper utilizes ThermoCor® high-performance insulation along with high-efficiency refrigeration and heating systems for precise control of temperature-sensitive shipments. It’s the only air transport shipper that combines superior insulation with thermal capabilities to provide an environment that will withstand extended hold times on the tarmac, extreme temperature exposure and delays in routing and transit. The extended battery operation (over 120 hours as +20°C ambient) and precise temperature management (ranges of +4° to +25°C), along with a proprietary air movement and temperature control system, offer you the assurance needed to withstand unpredictable situations during the cold chain air transport of sensitive cargo.
 
Superior to Dry Ice
 
The compressor-driven technology of the CSafe RKN eliminates the use of dry ice and the challenges often associated with its technology. Since dry ice is a hazardous material, using it in your shipments is both costly and dangerous. However, the RKN mobile refrigerator shipper does not use dry ice, so your shipment can be loaded onto the aircraft without incurring special handling or hazardous goods surcharges. The RKN thermal pallet shipper’s superior performance also eliminates the requirement for a refrigerated truck and warehouse staging.
 
Data Tracking
 
CSafe’s active pallet shipper provides complete cold chain management through the onboard data tracking device within the RKN. Its sophisticated data logging system provides you with real-time shipment activity. The device records door openings and verifies that the cargo was maintained at the required temperature during transit. This system continuously monitors and provides a detailed report of the unit’s temperature during all phases of transport. By minimizing the operating procedures, your shipment will be loaded and handled more quickly, resulting in reduced cost of operation while ensuring cold chain integrity and accountability. The ease of downloading the shipment's data log files is as easy as 1, 2, 3. Simply insert your USB, press download to retrieve the log file, then upload and open file on your computer for review. Log provides almost immediate availability to a requlatory compliant file. And with the ability to view the data on the screen, it gives you immediate knowledge of a successful shipment and subsequent release of product.
